An exhibition of images by local photographer Shadowed Eyes, captured around the city as part of the Gloucester500 project to photograph all of Gloucester’s near 500 sites listed by Historic England.
Like the city, the project is a work in progress. At the core of the exhibition is a large mosaic comprising some 600 different images arranged in 10,000 tiles to paint a view of the Cathedral.
The haphazard presentation of accompanying images in different sizes and eclectic mix of frames reflects Gloucester’s random streetscape.
The saturated colours of the images reflect the historical treasure trove that is Gloucester.
