The Folk will be hosting a free ‘pop-up’ military research event on Saturday 22nd April from 11am to 1400hrs! The event is being organised by the Cheltenham & Gloucester branch of the Western Front Association and anyone interested in finding out more about any ancestors who served in the First World War are invited to drop in. To help with the research and improve your chance of success, please bring along details of your name ancestor’s names, date of birth if possible along with possible addresses and which regiment or branch of the armed forces they served in. If you have details of your ancestor’s spouse/ partner or a picture of the ancestor in uniform – that could help even more!

Refreshments will be on sale in the Secret Garden Café, so why not come along for an interesting time on the 22nd April?
